The Barris T Buggy is a Volkswagen-based custom beach buggy created by 'Kustom King' George Barris. It was designed to appeal to the young people of 1960s California surf culture following on from the huge success of Bruce Meyers's Meyers Manx. These buggies, usually based on or powered by Volkswagens, proved a huge success.

The T Buggy was very much a street vehicle, whereas other contemporary buggies were designed to be capable on and, to a degree, off-road. Loosely inspired by the Ford Model T 'T-bucket' hot rods, which were hugely popular in the '60s, it was available as either a roadster, C-cab (like a small delivery van) or convertible. However, with only 15 T Buggys made in total, each style is extremely rare. There were probably around 5 of each. The vehicles were based on either a Volkswagen Type 3 or a Chevrolet Corvair.

The car was decorated with a false radiator grille with 1920s-style cap and lantern-style headlights, similar to what Barris had used on other vehicles of his, such as the Munster Koach. The MPC Model Company made 1/25th scale model kits of the T Buggy in 1970.
